Improve the Aesthetics of Your Smile

When you visit our office, you know you’ll get dental care that consider and improves your total health. Even with cosmetic work, we have your wellness in mind.

Cosmetic flaws in our teeth can prevent us from smiling, laughing, and speaking comfortably in public or amongst friends. Fortunately, advances in the scope and technology of modern dentistry have afforded us the opportunity to make small adjustments to mask imperfections and allow our patients to enjoy a beautiful and healthy smile.

If you have aesthetic concerns about your teeth, the team at Total Health Dental Care suggests exploring the cosmetic dentistry services at our Oakland office and our Berkeley office. We offer many smile makeover options that will enhance the attractiveness of your teeth and your overall self confidence. Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening treatments improve the color of teeth and eliminate discoloration caused by everyday products such as coffee, tea, wine, and tobacco. Our office utilizes the ZOOM!® chairside system. The ZOOM!® system employs a combination of a professional-strength bleaching solution with a laser light to achieve maximum whitening results in a minimal amount of time.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are small, tooth-shaped shells that are slipped over the surface of teeth to beautify a smile. The placement of porcelain veneers can be completed in one appointment, thanks to our CEREC® one-visit restoration system. CEREC® technology allows our dentists to fit, craft, and place veneers in one short office visit, eliminating the need for temporary restorations or multiple appointments at our Oakland cosmetic dentistry practice.

Dental Bonding

Sometimes used as an alternative to veneers, dental bonding involves the application of a resin material to mask slight cosmetic or structural flaws in teeth (i.e. chips, cracks, small gaps). Once applied to a particular tooth, the resin material is sculpted into the desired shape, depending on the patient’s specifications, and cured so that it both matches the sheen and rigidity of the surrounding teeth.
